Mission:
Our mission at Trillium Outdoor Designs is to engage with a client to create an outdoor space that reflects their own individuality with an emphasis on elegant, coherent design.

Business owner and designer Whitney Freeman- Kemp began her career as a landscape designer in the United Kingdom shortly after earning her PhD from Cambridge University in Neuroscience. While living in the countryside around Cambridge she spent any spare time restoring her garden, dated to the 1940's, that had fallen into great disrepair under previous
owners. It was not long before she was inspired to pursue a diploma at the well-known KLC School of Design in London. Now based in New Jersey, she works as a freelance designer under her business name: Trillium Outdoor Designs llc.

She continually refines and develops her skills by regularly attending programs at the New York Botanic Gardens and Parsons School of Design as well as industry conferences and trade shows. She is inspired by international travel including visits to the Chelsea Flower Show in London and the International Flora Show in Montreal.
